Meet the Carrasquillos
Luisa and Angel Carrasquillo have been Foster Parents for the past 16 years. They have had more than 113 different children placed in their home, and have adopted two of these children. Luisa and Angel have 2 grown adult children and several grandchildren. Over the years they have cared for some of the Agency's most medically fragile children, many who were born affected by drugs. They are also a bilingual/multicultural family. They are able to provide care for both Spanish and English speaking children and families. Angel is from Puerto Rico and comes from a family of 12 children. Luisa is from Honduras and is the oldest of 8 children.
They reside in Woodburn. They have great working relationships with the Agency and with our community partners. Luisa has served as a mentor to other foster parents and also birth parents and also participates in the support group.
